STANLEY HURWITZ
has 25 years of experience
managing Public Relations and Marketing Communications for
corporate, institutional and non-profit clients. He has helped
clients of all sizes boost their image, attract attention,
increase sales, publicize accomplishments.
Prior to establishing Creative
Communications in 1991, Stan was Assistant Director of Public
Affairs for the Combined Jewish Philanthropies, a $22 million
planning and fundraising organization. His work has won national
awards. He is available for specific projects or on a consulting
/ retainer basis for ongoing promotion.
Specific
Accomplishments include:
·
Developed and implemented
comprehensive public relations, marketing and advertising
program that helped a home health care company grow from
$1/2 million to $10 million in sales over a three-year period,
to become one of largest firms of its kind in New England.
Extensive regional and national publicity.
· Conceived themes, coordinated two dozen celebrities, and developed all
print ads, direct mail
and public relations for major fundraising organization’s
annual phone-a-thon for ten years. Each event netted over one
million dollars in donations, attracted 1,000+ volunteers,
received extensive media attention, and boosted the agency’s
visibility and image. Promotional materials I developed won
several national awards.
· Developed story ideas, researched and wrote AARP Health Extra
wellness newsletter,
mailed to 30,000 senior citizens nationwide.
· Wrote, directed and co-produced a series of five radio spots and five
cable television
commercials for Rodman Ford, Foxboro. These met with excellent
results, prompting the owner to run them for the entire
football season.
· Created a booklet promoting complex Structured Settlements for Allstate
Insurance. The
first printing of 10,000 copies helped push sales to $42
million in 1997. A second printing was ordered.
· Conceived and developed all marketing materials, print ads, news
releases, newsletters,
web site concept and content, etc., for one of the region’s
leading mid-size commercial real estate firms which consummated
$100 million in deals in a recent calendar year.
·Researched
and wrote a newsletter for a respected private school which
earned a national Award
for Publication Excellence (APEX) in
2003.
·Conceived
and wrote direct mail
pieces and a newsletter that
won a creativity contest (and a
top prize) for a commercial real estate client.
·
Arranged for a product and service-oriented
client to be the Page One feature of the Boston Globe’s
South Weekly section, and convinced both Channel 7 (WHDH) and
Channel 56 (WLVI) to feature a health care client in medical
segments.
·
Served as
Editor of “A Celebration of the Triumph of Survival,” a
volume of first-person memoirs by Holocaust survivors.
